Tilting at Windmills

After some delicate RSS wrangling, I’ve managed to plunk a slightly ugly reader for my FriendFeed into the sidebar, complete with twitter updates.

I’ve already got complete strangers subscribing to my updates at both sites, which is, on the one hand, awesome that I can attract attention and bodes well for my goal of developing a legion of followers and on the other hand is creepy as all hell.

Unfortunately WordPress doesn’t play nice with FTP tinkering so this is the most attractive layout I can produce. I’m looking to add breaks in the form of dating each entry, but that is currently cued to January 1st 1970 for some reason and it won’t make sense to do so until I can fix this.

I’m also working on finding a new banner and slogan for this blog as a bit of house-keeping. Any ideas are appreciated.
